Israel settlers escape high prices by shopping in West Bank

25 June 2022; MEMO: Israeli settlers have been escaping high prices in Israel by shopping in the Palestinian cities of the occupied West Bank, Israel Hayom revealed earlier this week.

According to the Israeli daily, there is an increasing trend as more Israelis buy fuel and go shopping in Palestinian cities and villages despite "massive danger".

According to the newspaper, the reason is the high living standards and prices in Israel compared to the comparatively low prices in Palestinian shops.

Israeli settler kills Palestinian man: health ministry

GAZA/RAMALLAH, June 22 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian young man died after an Israeli settler had stabbed him near the northern West Bank city of Salfit on Tuesday night, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.

The Israeli directly stabbed Hassan Harb in the heart during confrontations with Israeli settlers who stormed the city's suburb, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said in a press statement on Tuesday.

22 June 2022; MEMO: Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has condemned the murder of a Palestinian man by an illegal Jewish settler in the occupied West Bank. PA Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh also condemned the killing of Ali Harb, 27, in the village of Iskaka, near Salfit.

Sheikh Raed Salah denies being shot

22 June 2022; MEMO: Sheikh Raed Salah yesterday denied being shot and wounded, saying he held the Israeli occupation responsible for any harm that may come to him, Safa news agency reported.

This came following reports that he was seriously wounded during gunfire in Arab-Israeli city of Umm Al-Fahm.

In a statement, Sheikh Salah said he held the Israeli occupation responsible for any harm that might come to him as a result of its continuous incitement against him.

Hamas to restore relations with Syrian regime

22 June 2022; MEMO: Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, prepares to restore relations with the Syrian regime after a 10-year hiatus, a Palestinian source said on Tuesday, Anadolu News Agency reports.

"The two sides will open a new phase in their relations in the coming period," the source, who preferred to remain unnamed, told Anadolu Agency.

The source said the Lebanese group, Hezbollah, exerted "tireless efforts" to mediate between the two sides.

Palestinian killed by Israeli soldiers in northern West Bank

RAMALLAH, June 19 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian was killed on Sunday by Israeli soldiers when he tried to cross the security fence between the northern West Bank city of Qaliqlya and Israel, according to Palestinian health authorities.

The Palestinian liaison office reported that Nabil Ghanim was killed after Israeli soldiers shot him near the security fence close to the city, according to a press statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Israeli kills 3 Palestinians in northern occupied West Bank

17 June 2022; MEMO: The Israeli occupation army shot dead three Palestinians and wounded eight others this morning in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.

Palestine TV reported that the Israeli army carried out an assassination operation in Jenin, which resulted in "the martyrdom of Baraa Lahluh, Laith Abu Srour and Youssef Salah."

Eyewitnesses said Israeli troops stormed Jenin city and opened fire at a car killing three passengers.

Palestine resistance seize Israel's surveillance balloon

18 June 2022; MEMO: The Palestinian resistance managed to seize control of the Israeli surveillance balloon early on Friday after it was shot down in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources confirmed to Quds Press that the Israeli surveillance balloon seized by the Palestinian resistance was not the first it had seized. It has previously seized several balloons, as well as advanced drones.
